RU has something for everyone...

The fact that you're here means that there is a good chance that you or a loved one are struggling with addiction. Since every addiction affects at least four other people, we offer programs for the whole family. We have programs for adults, kids and teens - even a free nursery for your little ones. With addiction affecting so many lives on so many different levels, we do everything we can to help. We even have a program for the incarcerated and the non-functioning addicts, as well as a new program for healthy living. We believe anyone, any age, struggling with any addiction on any level can find freedom.  So, if you or a loved one needs help, now is the time to begin recovery.

Here is what we have to offer...

At RU, you have nothing to fear or be ashamed of. Everyone is there for the same reason - TO FIND FREEDOM FROM ADDICTION! Our programs are FREE and you will find all the help and encouragement and support you need to start your recovery.

  • RU FULL THROTTLE FOR TEENS [ages 13-17]...

Teens today face a severe amount of peer pressure as well as excessive exposure to addictive substances as early as middle school. According to the latest studies, 72% of high school students admit to having consumed alcohol. Close to 20% of American high school students say they drink and use drugs during class, and some even admitted to buying drugs from classmates. Studies also show that teens whose parents are addicted to drugs or alcohol are especially vulnerable to abuse. According to the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse, more than 90% of people with a substance problem began smoking, drinking or using other drugs before age 18. Never before has there been such a need for a preventive, pro-active program for teens.

If you are a teen looking for a place to hang, meet new friends, or just love to compete, Full Throttle has a place for you. If you are struggling with drugs, alcohol, peer pressure and relationships, Full Throttle can help you find meaning and purpose in life.

  • RU KIDS club [ages 4-12]...

Children tend to repeat the behavior patterns of their parents. This makes the children of the addicted much more likely to engage in the same strongholds as their parents in their adolescent years. Studies show that 37% of middle school children in America have at least tried alcohol. To keep the addiction pattern from repeating itself, RU has developed Kid's Club. Our kid's curriculum is similar to what we teach in the adult program, but it's on a level they can understand.

    • Kidz Club meets at the same time as the adult recovery on Friday nights at 7 pm, so parents don't have to worry about childcare as they work the RU adult recovery program.
    • Kidz Club is conducted by a loving, well-trained staff in a clean, safe environment.
    • Kidz Club consists of: challenging Bible lessons, exciting games, crafts and other projects and activities.
    • Kidz Club also has motivational awards to help them stay engaged as they learn.

  • RU childcare [Infants & toddlers]...

We don't want you to have any worries as you work the RU program. Your little ones will be safe in our care and best of all - childcare doesn't cost a thing!

    • Your children can play and have fun in a nursery designed just for their amusement.
    • Your children will have a snack, color a picture, and even enjoy a Bible story while you you are in recovery.
    • Your children will be cared for by a loving, well-trained staff in a safe, clean environment.

  • Rip: RU Institutional program [for the incarcerated]

70% of people in jail or prison were addicted to drugs or alcohol before incarceration, yet only 10% get any type of treatment while incarcerated. In many instances, addiction played a role in their incarceration and, since it continues to be a problem among inmates, they have very little hope in any lasting recovery. If you have a loved one behind bars trapped in addiction, RU can help!

    • RIP offers the incarcerated both individual and small group counseling, as well as the same Biblical truths, principles and format of the adult recovery program
    • RIP is taken by leadership within the RU program to inmates on location. Check with your local RU to see if there is a RIP program available for you or your loved one.
    • RIP is used by FBT to minister to inmates at the Florence County Jail & Detention Center twice weekly in certain pods only. If you would like to participate in our program, call  843-665-9944.
